Final Reflection

After completing this task with Augmented Reality using the Merge Cube, we have obtained great results and insights into the use of this technology in classrooms. By integrating the ACAD learning principles, we ensured that our activity included elements that allowed for the development of a complete and efficient activity. In doing so, we discovered the immense potential of AR to create immersive and interactive learning experiences that help students engage more deeply with the subject matter.

Finally, we realised that refining our approach to teamwork could further improve participation and learning outcomes. If we were to redesign the activity, we would consider group tasks to encourage structured communication and teamwork. Ultimately, we concluded that while AR-based activities naturally encourage participation, the effectiveness of collaboration depends largely on how educators design the learning experience. This reflection has helped us not only to appreciate the power of AR in education, but also to recognise the importance of thoughtful pedagogical design in fostering meaningful learning experiences.
