SPOTTER TASK 8

 SPOTTER: ADRIANA

This week our translator chose 4 concepts which are: Data Privacy in Educational Technology, Rubric-Based Evaluation of eLearning Tools, Constructivism in Technology-Enhanced Learning and Connectivism in Digital Education.

In order to analyze our job in the project and other's work as well, we looked at the 4 different concepts of two

other groups: Shiny teachers and Five Braincells's

From Shiny Teachers we had 2 different concepts which were:

·Rubric:

A rubric is an assessment tool for evaluating the students’ learning. Rubrics are based on predefined criteria and it is evaluated according to that criteria. Also, rubrics are very consistent and further than other evaluating tools because teachers evaluate according to the goals they want their students to meet. Rubrics can be holistic and also, analytic. Holistic ones gives an overall score and analytic which evaluates the criteria, but in this case separately.

·Evaluation:

An evaluation is a structured procedure for measuring the effectiveness, worth, or performance of a program, product, or process according to predefined standards. It entails gathering and examining data to assess results, advantages, disadvantages, and opportunities for enhancement. Evaluations may be formative, concentrating on enhancing processes throughout implementation, or summative, intended to evaluate final results. This procedure assists in making decisions and improving the general efficiency of the entity being assessed.

From Five Braincells's we had 2 different concepts which were:

·Data Privacy and Protection in Digital Learning:

This refers to the policies and practices that keep student and teacher information safe when using digital tools. It prevents unauthorized access and protects data from being misused.

·Integrating Technology in Teaching

This means using digital tools in a way that improves learning and connects with educational goals. It’s not just about adding technology but making sure it truly helps students understand better.
