STAR TASK 5

 STAR: SILVIA

For this week's task we had to create a stop motion where kids could learn something. For this, we chose to do a stop motion with a puzzle so that kids could learn the different countries, continents and animals. We also created some cards with the animals and their original continent.

As for the teacher's feedback in this task:
At first, when we told her our initial idea (only doing a puzzle), she thought that we could create a more complex and ,overall, a better project since the kids would not really learn anything new. That is when we came up with the cards idea. This way we could really check if the students were learning something or not. This made us think a little bit outside the box and work harder and also smarter. She also remarked that we should always think what the kids were learning and if they were really learning or just having fun.

Students' feedback:
We are happy to say that everyone really liked our task and thought it was quite original. However, they thought that maybe the puzzle was quite long and that it may bore our primary students. And also that if they were pretty young like 6 years or so, the puzzle could be quite dangerous because kids could swallow a piece or maybe lose it.
Overall, they all agreed that our project was very nifty and entertaining. They had loads of fun doing it.

Our feedback:
Generally speaking, we liked doing this task and had fun making the stop motion. However, at first it was quite difficult for us to come up with an idea for this project. Everyone had different ideas like doing a social problem (bullying, racism, etc) and others wanted something that was different. It was difficult to reach an agreement but in the end we chose the idea that everyone was happy with. We liked how the idea turned out, nevertheless, we agree that it might be a little long and the students could get frustrated if they do not know how to solve the puzzle.
