STAR TASK 8

Image
STAR: SILVIA Y ROCIO  STARS’ REFLECTION:  For this week’s project, we had to prepare an activity that Linda gave us called YouTube’s Scavenger Hunt. What we had to do was basically first doing the whole document to have the answers right and then we added a few things like a bingo related to YouTube so that this way, they could have fun while learning about technology.  About the feedback, our peers told us that the activity was engaging because it had to do with social media, which is a thing they use everyday all the time. They liked it because it was original and well thought as well as aesthetically pleasing. However, they would have preferred if the bingo cards we created had the exact same words that appear in the document they had to search the information from, they believed it was quite tricky to find the words and specially for a primary kid.  Linda told as a general feedback how nice it was from us to have created an additional activity since it has ...

After this, we had to choose one of three different activities (Youtube Scravenger Hunt, Speculative Fiction or Introduction to Supervised Machine Learning and Algorithmic Bias). We chose Youtube Scravenger Hunt. While personalizing our own activity, we decided to create our own activity sheet using Canva so that we could make it ours. We also change the examples that were there and we included some new concepts in which the students could work on and dig in. In the last part, we search for a website that was reliable and talked about the use of AI on Youtube, and base...
